as you may have read that I tried twice to ban and I was talked out of it and embarrassed, however there is no other choice because I can’t rist arrest or something being on my record because I am up for a promotion and a background would be needed.
I should have done it 2 years and much money ago, but I can’t dwell on the past. I can’t keep trying to recoup my losses, I can’t be scared of what’s going to happen if I do, I cant keep being miserable, I can’t keep thinking how am I going to survive now that I am 3 months behind on money.
3 months behind I do it without gambling but 3 months behind, will gambling become 6 months, years, with no more outs I don’t know want to think of the outcome.
2 years and maybe 2 years after that but my paychecks will be be mind again starting this week.
I haven't gambled regularly or in my tri-state for two and a half years.
I have gambled three times in other states since then (I had to go to Vegas for work once, for instance, and I wasn't strong enough to combat it), but I am currently about four months clean and doing well. Self-banning really saved my life.
