  I've mentioned it before, but my urge to relapse has been REALLY strong lately.I found a new casino in another state that is just 2 hours away. (*gulp*) I am not self-banned in that state, and judging from their website, it looks pretty damn good there.For those of you who haven't self-banned but have successfully quit, how did you manage?

  i need help. My mother has cancer and is refusing treatment. She is very sick but she and my father are in denial. I am also extremely busy between work and my child and my husband. Sometimes I feel like I’m at my wit’s end. I need help and I’m not sure what to do. I really want to gamble and forget everything for a few hours. But it’s been four years since I’ve gambled in state and two since I’ve gambled at all.   Haven't posted in a while, for a myriad of reasons, namely that I had a baby.I've been doing fairly well. Things are going fairly well at work and the baby is healthy, we are bonded, and we are both adjusting to our new life.Sometimes, though, when things get stressful, I have a tendency to what to go gamble. Advice welcome. PS - I'm 13 months clean. Was 2 years clean (June 21, 2015) before a work trip to Vegas in 2017, ended up going off for 3 days there in 2017.

  I'm 3 months, 2 weeks in. History:Mid-2015 -- Quit for 17 monthsEnd of 2016 - 2017 -- Three incidences of gambling, about three months apart.Struggling on a lot of levels. Any advice welcome.

  I quit June 23, 2015. By "quit," i mean, went from 20-30 times a month to next to nothing.Since that time, I've relapsed three times. The first time, after 17 months, it was awful, and I went into full-on withdrawal symptoms again: Couldn't sleep, felt down, etc. The second and third times, after 20 and 22 months, respectively, the symptoms weren't too bad. I self-banned from all casinos in the tri-state, so I actually had to drive three-and-a-half hours to the nearest casino.But when I got there, it didn't feel like it used to.
