  I am a sister of a crack addict(50 yrs old) he lives with my elderly frail mom. She is his chief enabler and has been for 15 years.  3 months ago I decided to stop enabling her to enable him(giving up doing her bills and trying to protect her from having nothing).  In those 3 months he talked her into changing her will, giving him her house, changed all bank accounts with his name on it, had her SS check deposited in a bank account with his name on it and negative balance in her checking...

  Hi everyone,This site saved my sanity several years ago, so I thought I would reach out to people that understand.  I do not know what to do in this situation.  79 year old enabling mother(of many years) and 50 year old drug addict son (my brother) who lives with her.  My mom is starting severe short term memory loss, but other than that knows who everyone is, takes care of herself as far as personal hygene goes and still drives.  Up until last week, I was her POA and a few years back she...
