  its been over a year and so much has changed. Going through a divorce it’s almost finalized. Found a wonderful man who I love and my mom has passed away and fighting my narc step father for money that my mother has left me and being assaulted by him at the hospice while my mom was dying. It’s been hard...really hard. Not the divorce.. I’ve accepted that but losing my mom.

  Well its done. My lawyer sent my ex a email going no contact. And the battle has started him blocking all my family. Its sad really 20 years going down like this but I realise that I wont be bulliedand threaten anymore. I will not do what he wants just because and I will fight and win what I deserve. It hurts and I cry but I get up and do what I got to do to survive.

  Its been two months since the separation and im severally depressed. Today i just laid in bed and cried. Everything felt daunting and overwhelming. When do you start to feel better? Im in counselling, i read all the self help books, I try to do normal things but it just seems to be getting harder and harder. My ex friend says i dwell on things. Especially things i cant change or fix and i admit it I do. At least for awhile. Everyone.. My family and friends want me to start thinking positive but...

  So its the mine and my soon to be ex Anniversary. This week was a hard week, lost of friend and then dealing with the first of many as a soon to be divoriced woman. Remembering how excited I was when I got married, that day was perfect in every way. Now.. 11 years later feeling let down by all the empty promises. I made my mistakes.   So i lost a friendship yesterday. She wanted me to be there for her and constantly calling me selfish because im so wrapped up in my drama and self loathing. I know im being selfish right now, i know im still reeling from everything that has happened and hearing my soon to be exs voice in my head telling me how horrible i am. I just couldnt do it anymore, try to be everyones rock when im barely keeping it together.

  This was the weekend we were suppose to go to Vienna. We made so many plans for trips together. Not just months but years of plans. Its hard to comprehend that that part of my life is over. I miss his voice and the silly things we use to do. But I realise I missed the man who didnt really exist. I miss the person he sometimes was...the fantasy.   This past week hasnt been all bad. I started looking for an apartment and getting my stuff ready for the lawyer. It is not how I imgine my life at 36 but you got to go with it.   So I tried one more time to fix my marriage. I guess you can say I was naive to believe that our "love" that we once had could be worked on. That the promises that we both made could be fixed.   So today is not a good day. Actually the last week hasnt been very good. I know it will take time and that it wont be easy, but I hate this feeling the Anadonment, of heartbreak.
