  Hello everyone,I have been diagnosed as bipolar 2 in the past and was in denial, but now I believe the diagnosis may be correct and I am hoping for your input. I have always struggled with moods. Even as a child I would take days "off" from school because I felt so overwhelmed.   Sometimes I feel as though I am addicted to depression. Like it is a safe excuse for me to avoid failure in the world. I keep telling myself "tomorrow I am going to get up at a decent time and have a productive day," and then I go back to bed yet again. I have fallen behind on everything and can hardly bother to take a shower.
