Is it OK to hate Monday even if you don't work?
I was up at 2:00 slept between 4 and 6 then got everyone up and out of here. Now I'm jacked up on coffee but I still feel like I could go back to sleep. What to do?
Still in alot of pain from the weekend but it's not real severe, just your average did too much pain.
I plan on taking it easy today again, it's chilly now but supposed to get up around 80 so it ought to be a pretty day. I'm just going to relax and enjoy it.

Good Morning all. Still recovering from last wk but am going to try to get some paperwork done. I have tons piled up that must be addressed. Hopefully the brain fog will abate enough for me to get through part of it.

@ Hippy and Rocket" I'm still thinking about Russell (the fur baby who needs a forever home) My 2 pups are getting older (7 and 9 yrs old) and I know a "young'un would perk us all up and add new life to our "pack". MIL has a darling Border Collie/Sheltie mix who's fitting in well. I'm incorporating him in our walks. We have plenty of room and love to give a new baby. Our only hesitation is adding to vet bills. I'm a stickler for up-to-date shots, heartworm meds, etc. I have the contact # for the organization and am still thinking abt. adoption. At the very least, we may apply to be a foster family for them and help w/ fundraisers. We don't have a "no kill" shelter in this county and desperately need on. This is part of their mission. Almost 5,000 dogs and cats were euthanized in this county in 2009. I'm sure its worse now with the economy so bad.
Well, gotta pay some bills and get them in the box before mail carrier comes by. Then work on other paperwork for services, etc. UGH I'll touch base again later. Hope you all have a good day.

Nealy- I have 3 dear furry babies; I don't know what I would do without them. When I'm depressed and in pain, they know and come and cuddle. If only people had the same feelings,huh??? Have a good day.

In pretty decent shape today...sciatica has calmed down to a tolerable level. Kids are at school and mom is at work. My bed is made, I have had my bath and, I am laying down to rest. I hope you are all ok and your pain is less today than yesterday.

I actually had to ask somebody what day it was today. I guess I need to pay more attention to the letters on my pill box.

This is a place where we come to and let our fellow CP folks what's going on. I have been fortunate enough to make very good friends here. I'm having a good day so far. Pain levels are staying at around a 4-5, so that's good.

it seems I've been having a very busy time lately and its driving me crazy. I hurt worse today than I have in a long time. Back to where it hurts to take each step... sciatic pain burning and like lightening down both legs, lower back pain jolts with every movement. I took my daughter to the dentist today, just drove and it was in town so not far, then had to go to laundromat. My son carried all the laundry but I had to stoop to put it in the front loading machines and I could hardly get back up. Went to the dollarama while waiting the 30 minutes and had a very hard time getting around...up and down two aisles was all I could handle and even that was extremely painful. Got home and it was one of those evenings where there was stuff that just has to be done. Had to hang up my laundry on the drying rack, then had to peel, core and slice a big batch of apples for freezing... bf did most but I tried to help. They were picked a few days ago so we wanted to get them in the freezer asap. Too much work for me for one day after heritage village yesterday, birthday party day before etc...

Resting now on my ice pack. Hope everyone else is having a better day than me. Seeing my pain doc first thing tomorrow so we'll see if there will be any changes to handle this kind of pain. The breakthrough meds just not cutting it. Goodnight all

Sounds like Mondays everyone should just stay in bed! Sorry everyone is feeling so beat up. Party animals! LOL! I hope tomorrow is a much better day for all of you.

Nealy I like the idea of fostering dogs. Either way you will be helping out alot. That is so sad that in one county that many had to be put to sleep. This just breaks my heart.

I'm not to smart when it comes to copying and links and such on the computer. Can someone please put up a copy of the "Normals" letter for the new ppl. I would appreciate this very much. Please let me know if you want to do this. Thanks.

OMG David....he is the cutest little thing. I was laughing out loud watching him and my little chichuhua sitting next to me starting barking with Rocco. Too much, love it,he is adorable.

Up and going now that school is back in secession I have to get up early. We are having a birthday party here this weekend so have alot of cleaning to do and have to do bills as I am a week behind getting them out, as it is so depressing to do I put it off which makes it worse always hanging over my head.

We are supposed to be having a bit of a warm up this week with little rain, thank goodness as I am sick of rain. Hope everyone has a good day and a low pain day to boot
