I thought we were through w/ moving MIL but......forgot that she had one of those metal carport things. ugh Its too big to fit in Hubby's big truck so my brother is bring his huge trailer and they're going to get that. Poor hubby, he's sooo tired and hurting. This is the very last thing though. So I'm going to have to run the errands today which he had planned on doing. No matter, I did rest a lot yesterday.
@SSNwriter: I meant to respond re: your boys. I was sooooo young when I had my son and I did so many things wrong. But its funny because when he talks abt. childhood, its the good things I did that he seems to remember the most. Yes, he does remember he changed schools a lot because I just couldn't settle in one place but most of his stories are abt. our fun adventures. You'll be surprised how your boys will cherish the good memories you make for them regardless of what you may feel are shortcomings.
I hope everyone has a decent day today. I'll pop back on later to ck in again. Love to all!!
Hoping everyone has a nice Saturday, its nice and sunny here but cool, perfect fall day. Hugs and peace to everyone,
Lisa
@Nealytee
My friend...since I just moved (Zingara can probably talk about it too) My heart breaks for you and hubby. It felt like my entire world was upside down and that everytime I looked ---another box appeared!
I am just keeping you and hubby in my prayers and hoping that your pain gets easier throughout the day.
@SadSadLisa
You are absolutely correct...two year olds just like to mush it in their hands, they don't care about the letters being perfect. What he will probably remember is that his grandma made him a great cake.
@Irocket
HUGS and LOVE to you my friend. I worry about you far more than you know.
@ Hippy
HUGS and love to you my friend.
@ all who have not have checked in yet...my hugs and support to you all and feathery hugs!
>>>me>>>
Much better shape than yesterday. I had such terrible sciatica and horrid spasms yesterday. I was ready to fall on the ground. Resting today and taking life a little slower...but, better today.
HUGS my friends
Having a good day so far. Pain levels around the same. Had a lot of stuff to do today. First time I've had a chance to sit and relax.
I hope you all are getting along alright. I'm really glad to know y'all are here.
Hugs,
David.
Rayray my girl I am sooo glad you are getting over your flu !! I can't imagine how that affected you! I have to avoid getting sick at all costs with my MS, I am uncertain if I should get a flu shot of not I have to see if its ok.
I hope everyone else is having an ok weekend, I am loving this fall weather!!
I find out all about my hand surgery on Monday.... Let's getter donee already
Havent been feeling the greatest, supposed to go to the Bronx zoo tomorrow, have no idea how I will do standing and walking all day. It will be good for my mood to get out though!
Hugs to all my friends!!!
I survived the rennaisance festival but it took all my spoons and I'm in pretty rough shape. Doesn't look like I'll sleep good tonight. I'm in alot of pain but the boys had a great time so that made it all worth it. I had a good time too, it just hurt like hell. Tomorrow....er..today will be a recovery day for sure. I've got nothing planned but taking it easy and keeping my recliner warm.
Have a great day everyone,
Mike
Yesterday was an incredibly painful day for me. I got up at 4:00 this morning and have been using everything I have available to get it under control so I won't lose another day. It's been an hour and a half and I haven't made much progress, yet.
I'm trying to keep in mind that so many of you are dealing with so much more than I am. I will NOT feel sorry for myself. That's going to be my mantra for the day.
Love to all,
Cherry
Yes, Mike, we definitely need our rest after trips "out" of the 'home",lol
Just kidding, my friend, do get some rest;glad the boys had a good time.
Cherry my dear friend: you are up EARLY this morning;sorry you had such a bad day yesterday.I wish your pain would subside just so you could get some rest, too.I hope you both have lower pain days than yesterday.
Me))))I'm still feeling like crapola (I love that word this week for some reason, lol) Woke up from pain at 3:00 a.m. Don't know if I want to make coffee, or go back to bed. Decisions are so stressful for me.
For all of you late sleepers, lol, have a wonderful and low pain Sunday!
Love you all and gentle hugs,
MaryKathryn
Hubby's been doing updates on my laptop today so just had some time to get on here. Really trying to get a little done today but body is not cooperating, nor is my brain. So, perhaps tomorrow.
I ran a few errands yesterday including grocery. A local animal rescue group was having an adoption fair. Oh, came so close to bringing home a new fur baby BUT didn't want to do something that important w/out hubby. Later, I told him abt. it and he said "l=oh, would have been ok". LOL Well, the fur baby is still on my mind but we'll see. He's in a foster home right now so I have time to ponder. This house does need a little "life" in it. We're all like "old poops" right now. Fur baby is a Blonde Lab/Golden mix, 1 yr old. Most intelligent eyes.
Sounds like everyone is settled in after the big move. Maybe MIL needs a protector and a furbaby.
It really improves the mood and relaxes a person to have a pup.
Sundays are always busy for me. Heading back to church soon. We're starting small groups and we're having the kick-off hot dog supper and sign-ups tonight. I'm looking forward to it.
I hope everyone is having a good day.
Big Hugs,
David.
@ Mike and Cherry - hope you both had a relaxing day, you deserve it.
David, hope you feel ok after your busy day... sometimes its worth the pain though when we're doing something we love.
Hugs and peace to everyone, hope you all sleep well tonight,
Lisa
Nealy you might as well join the rest of us and rescue a dog! This benefits the dog and us too. Can give MIL some company too!
Hope everyone is having a restful evening,
Toni
Here we are another Monday morning boy is time flying by. I have lots on my plate today as usual and did a good job putting a dent in my todo list yesterday. It is sure chilly this morning and I think fall is here and soon we will be saying Hello to Winter, not sure if I am looking forward to that.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
I started my day at 3:30! When I make to 4:00, I consider it 'sleeping in'. There are a few necessary chores to attend to, but nothing is going to happen at top speed, today. Maybe I would warm up if I tried to kick into high gear...naw...I drive an automatic, these days.
I hope everyone has a comfortable day with minimal stress, low pain and joyful moments,
Cherry
