@Manny
HUGS and support for you and I am going to get you a magic carpet so you can escape yucky hurty floors. You can float around and just glide...that would be so fun!
@SadSad
Vent! Vent away. That is what is so nice about the group, our journals and our PM's....we can vent novels and someone is willing to receive it. I love that. Sometimes, I wish I knew how to type a scream so it could be easily understood!
@nealytee
I agree, walmart glasses if you can my friend. I think you will be ok though---you are probably just more insecure about yourself than you need to be. I will be praying for you and I hope to have a good update from you once you renew. HUGS my very dear one. and to the hubby and the dogs :-)
@Kansass
I am so glad that you got some sleep. I think whatever you have has rubbed off on me because I have not slept good in days. Last night...I think I made 4 straight hours so that is pretty good. HUGS and icey cold coffee dreams for you my friend!
@Dave
Stay tight right now....ride things out. I know things are so hard for you emotionally and are stressful. I am keeping you in my prayers my friend.
@Saab
I am so glad to see you here! Super hugs to you my friend!
@Livewithhope
Thank you for the nice compliment...I had nothing to do with it though. The room is awesome because of all the people here who care for eachother. HUGS and support to you my friend.

Ear infection is finally starting to clear up. I am so glad because that has been miserable. My son has been a punk lately...I am not sure if I should kill him or just severely maim him. I think I will maim him because he is still useful for chores. ARRGGHHHH
I have not heard on my little ducks SSI yet, only that the judge is working on it next week. The hearing was June ya'll...and, the judge had to wait to get records from the school which....just lucky...were closed for the entire summer. Now, she has the info and the case is on her desk===waiting. FUACK!
Pain wise...I am "normal"....bad at points through the day....mostly running around a 5 or 6 as long as I take care of myself and lay down a lot.
Trip to the Dr. today for back brace fitting and results of MRI. I am still so sore from that MRI table. Please say a prayer for me for good results of MRI.
I hope everyone finds their rainbow today;take a minute or so to look at the good things in your life.
Have a great day, you are all in my thoughts! Thank you all for your support and friendship.
Love to all,
MaryKathryn
Today has been a good day. The moisture has moved out. The pain levels are bearable. Had a nice breakfast out with my wife. Went to Walmart, and a couple of errands.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who are in need. Have a great day.
Big Hugs,
David.
CW am thinking of you!! After going through my Hep Tx this summer, I understand the dread. Knowing what you're putting in your body is going to flatten you and make you sick, its so hard to do it. I hope you con't to improve and that the side effects aren't too bad.
@Ducky, you're right, my friend. I tend to dread certain things w/ an impending sense of doom and, usually, it turns out OK. But I blow them all out of proportion in my head, put them off until the last min. which means I'm carrying a figurative sack of rocks on my back:>}. Oh my goodness, maybe I'm turning into my MOM!!! I do hope your ear infection is resolved and that you con't to feel ok.
Manny, I agree. We need some excitement in this house too. But not the CRISIS kind:>}. Still thinking of adopting or fostering another fur baby.
Cherry: so wonderful that you're being CW's cheerleader!! We all need one during tough times,. Hippy was one of my Cheerleader Angels during my Tx and it made all the difference.
Livingw/hope, so glad you're finding a sweet haven here within the Group. It is was wonderful family.
Well, my friends, I went to the library today and there are 8 Southern Writers calling my name. I'm going to escape into fiction while I rest from my expedition today. Will touch base later.
I got quite a bit done so I feel good about that anyway, but I'm sure tomorrow I'll be asking myself if it was worth it. I'm so tired of having to baby step through everything and I just find myself getting more and more frustrated with what I'm able to do now.
Not sure where my heads at right now, there's been alot going on and I'm a little overwhelmed. What I wouldn't give to be sitting on a beach, sucking down fancy umbrella drinks in the sun and just escaping for a little bit......don't see that happening though.
Sorry I didn't have time to look in today, I hope everyone is good,
Mike
Nealytee, congratulations ! When I was reading what you said to Ducky , I could of sworn I was the one writing about myself. I'm just like that. All the what ifs and how comes make me a nervous wreck . I too put his off till that day because of the fear.
Kansass, I hope you sleep tonight. Maybe you worked so hard today that it's just going to knock you out and when you wake tomorrow the pain won't be as bad as you think because of the sleep you got. That's what I'm praying for you.
Hugs to all
This room and all of you in it mean the world to me. You keep me sane. You keep me on my feet, when they don't even stand very well! Things can get very hard for all of us, but we know we have each other.
I hope and pray that we learn each day a little more to except our conditions and to learn ways to feel better. That new treatments will come our way to help us.
Many blessings to all,
Toni
11longyears. I had problems with recurrent infections years ago and my doctor at that time attributed it to Chronic fatigue and/or Fibromyalgia. I'm not as bad now but still get sick more often than most people. My son had tests for immunity when he was a toddler (20 years ago) and it was like allergy testing with the little needles and they prick your back to see if you react to any of the substances on the needles. His was pretty bad. Good luck with the testing on Monday and congratulations on the 'no cancer' news, that's awesome.
Sending warm gentle hugs to everyone today, may your day be a good one and your pain minimal.
I hope everyone is doing OK. Getting ready to make my sauce. I make 3 big pots. About 100 homemade meatballs, and store-bought hot Italian sausage. SPICY!!!! It takes all day to do, but we get about 18 meals out of it. My wife opens up all the cans of paste. That repetitive motion is not pleasing to my spine. Weird I know, but one of those acceptance things....Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.
Tomorrow we are planning on going to "Bark In The Park", a fund raiser in our local area. Rocco should have a blast!
Have a great day.
Big Hugs,
David.
Sounds like you have a busy day....I do the same thing,my Mom is 100% Italian and she taught me well :) Love my sauce nice and chunky with alot of sausage and big meatballs. YUMMY! Have fun! I do understand about the can openings, it hurts me too.
Rocco should have a blast todaY; I'm sure he'll meet some new friends, he's such a cutie!
I hopw you hAVE A WONDERFUL Friday and a great weekend.....You are such an inspiration to all of us and I thank you for that :)
OOPS, my coffee cup is empty, can't have that happen,expecially this morning. It is a cold morning in Colorado! BRRRRR=keep that coffee coming, lol.
Good morning/afternoon to those still sleeping in.. I wish for all of you a nice, sunshiney day,with low pain.
MaryKathryn
Lots of love and big hubx
Had to take my five year old niece to ER yesterday she broke up in a rash in like five minutes it turned out to be something called fifth disease it is a viral disease like slap cheek. I guess when you get to the rash part it is starting to be clearing up.
Did some projects yesterday as I am a big crafter and now just have to iron the pillowcases I embroidered if I did not keep my hands busy and my mind of pain I would go crazy for sure.
No plans for the weekend just trying to keep the house clean and have to go through the piles of mail I have got I hate mail and being on the phone.
Hugs to all
When is dinner ready?
@SadSadLisa
Have a good day yourself. I hope you get a lot of joy and laughter today.
@MaryKathryn
I love my coffee cold. Icy cold every morning in a glass with ice cubes and flavored creamer....MMMMMMM
Kansass thinks I am crazy. LOL, he is right you know.
@Manny
Kids come up with the darndest things... On and On and On.....kids are liking walking medical nightmares. I lived at the damned pediatricians offices until they were like 8. My little duck had bizarre stuff all the time that no one had ever heard of and that darn near killed her a few times. My boy duck had heavy duty stuff and they both loved to get sick right after one another.....so, I would just be getting one well and then the other would get it. I had to play nurse mommy with sick babies for like a month or 6 weeks at a time for years! Thank God that is done.
I will keep your little one in my prayers. I hope ou have a good day and don't clean too hard. There is nothing that has to happen this minute.
@Nealy
YAY!!!! You are more awesome than you give yourself credit for my friend. Good job on your license.
>>>>ME>>>>
Just the usual. I have some phone calls to make and some work to do on the computer. I am going to try and vacuum my room later (I sit on my walker to do it).
HUGS and support to you all
