I realy have no interest in living like this day after day. I wish I could find someone who would try a new med on me without first insisting I take Lyrica! This crap isn't cutting it.
I'm talking Cathy through another IV steroid treatment, at the moment and trying to be upbeat for her. It breaks my heart that her fear of hospitals is so overwhelming. We did it yesterday, though and she's doing great so far today.
I have another clien coming in a half hour...God give me relief, please!
It's been a good day, but a busy one. For some reason my pain levels are high today. I go to the PM doc tomorrow and we'll see what he has up his medical sleeve.
I hope all y'all are doing OK and I'll check in tomorrow with the doctor info.
Have a great night.
David.
I'm keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers and have hope that you will get to feeling better soon.
Cherry I'm so glad Cathy has you to help her through these hard times. Tell her I'm saying prayers for her.
I can't seem to get past my fatigue and flare up either. Maybe it's the weather changes we are all getting.
I hope someone out there gets a great nights sleep.
Toni
I had my MRI today. I think they made the "tube" in 1920 something.
It was a cold steel table with about 1/2 inch padding. I took 2 pain pills before I left the house, just to be safe. The tests were over an hour long. I had to lay on my back for over an hour. I came out, tears coming down my face and the lady says"what's the matter?" I just looked at her and said I cannot lay still on my back on a steel bed, in a tube. This was not my first MRI, its' probably my 13th or more.
This one was just so cold,so uncomfortable and the test lasted forever.
So, needless to say, I am in very bad pain. I just got over a fibro flare for 3 weeks, then a virus for 2 weeks, and now pain, pain, pain.
Enough ranting and raving about me. I hope you all get some good sleep;I doubt I will sleep any tonight, so the coffee will be started for you when you get up. I cannot promise how full the pot will be, but it was a nice gesture, yes??
Have a wonderful night/day my friends and Thank you for always being there or here for me :) Love and big hugs to everyone................MK
It is hump day and this is the day I like to get anything I have to get done done today as it is also our garbage day and I have this thing about getting things together and cleaned up and out to the trash on wednesdays. Thank goodness it is not raining this morning as we have had so much rain I think I am water logged.
Well off to get my niece up and ready for school she is only five but I can already tell she is not a morning person and it is so hard to get her up and dressed. Then I got to take my son in to school to get his computer as with his school they give out computers with 3G to the students and have to go and sign paperwork for it.
Hope everyone has a great hump day
My mother inlaw is a millionair and still wears Wal-Mart glasses.
I Went to Plumanary Doc yesterday, He is a good man. I now found out I have moderate COPD and Emphazema. I am so glad I quit smoking when I did. He tested me for a Gene also, it came back positive, Now I have to tell my sisters, to go get checked out. with this gene you can get Emphazema even if you never have smoked.
I am still running low grade fever from the first RFA and alot of muscles are drawing up, it is super painful. I can tell some of the original pain is reduced, but they lie, that you could go back to work the next day. I have reshearched it to death and most have alot of pain for a week or more.
I hope everyone is having a good day!
Blessings Rhonda
Manny I have the same problem with malls and grocery stores.... the floors just kill me too so its not in your head. I avoid the mall if at all possible and shop at the smaller grocery stores when I can.
I got a call from my insurance last night. They are really pushing me to try to go back to work. Of course that's their job but I'm so sick of it. She keeps insisting my job is 'just' sitting and not strenuous so I should be able to work. I've told her the last 3 times she called that sitting is my biggest problem and I just can't sit and stand for 8 hrs either. I'll write more in a journal post, not gonna start venting here or I'll be unstoppable lol. She really ticked me off.
I woke up in pain this morning, more than usual but I'm doing ok. Hope everyone enjoys their day, take care all.
Hugs and peace, Lisa
Yeah! I slept 5 hours last night. Not much but it's better than usual.
It's a perfect day here, it's calm and nice outside and I have some things I'm working on so the weather will really be perfect for it today.
I feel decent painwise and my mood seems OK so maybe it's time for a good day. Just got to use my head and not screw it up.
Later I have to take my oldest boy to get leg braces fitted so I have to pull him out of school early and go to town. Hopefully the drive won't get me too bad.
I hope everyone is doing well today,
Mike
So good to read your posts! I am headed this morning for my last IV Steriod Treatment. The great news is that I am really beginning to feel some improvement already. My legs are responding better almost back to where they were before I had the reaction to the Lyrica. So I am thrilled! Apart from the last two days feeling wiped out and wildly nauseated I have done well. And if the medication improves my walking ability it will all be worth it.
I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive to me during this time. It is so wonderful to have such good friends. I especially want to thank my dear friend Cherry, because she has been with me for every treatment sending me message after message of support. It was like having her right in the room with me, THANK YOU CHERRY!!! You are the best friend ever!
I hope this finds everyone enjoying our Fall leaves, or if you are in Australia I hope you are enjoying your Spring. Hugs, Cathy
You can't just wander in here...it takes a special invitation as this group isn't open to everyone...so glad you all are here. DS can be a little heavy sometimes but this is such a peaceful room. It's so very nice. I have Tipper to thank and Brandi for showing me the door here. Sometimes it hurts to bad and I can only whisper..and don't want anything to tighten my muscle up...want to come to a nice peaceful place...I lay in bed with the keyboard and stretch my neck to see the screen...don't feel like talking. Sometimes the slightest vibration hurts..it's nice to be soothed by reading posts here. Like having a little cave as a child where you could go to escape from the world. It's another world where even though we are going through alot of bad things of various issues, we can feel we are understood...like having a sister (or brother) to confide in...to be understood. Does this make sense? It's as close to running away as I can get. I wish I could leave my body and just run til I drop. But can only escape in my brain...in my soul. It's so nice to talk to all of you. And Millie said she can see our posts so even though she can't respond she is als9o here and praying for us as well as vise versa. I'm sure that is aa great comfort to her as well as it is for us.God bless you all.
Sorry I've been slack lately......busy. Today especially.
I feel decent. Went to the PM doc today. He didn't decrease my meds, which is good, and I don't have to go back for 8 weeks.
I'm glad you all are here and I'll be back tomorrow.
Big Hugs,
David.
Sometimes I feel like I am in a movie of groundhog day and these days seem like the day before. Get up and get kids to school come home and do this and that make dinner and watch TV in the evening and go to bed. Think I need a little excitement in my life when the kids were little I remember planning little vacations on the weekend and havent done that in years maybe it is time.
Hope everyone has a great day and a low pain day
I am up and about this morning, even cooked breakfast (very rare). I have a busy day running kids around but its ok, I've had a break for a while so it doesn't seem so bad. Grandson has appt at 11:15 and then have to take my son to eye doctor at 2, then bf's kids get home from school and I help with homework, then supper.... that makes a jam-packed day for me, I'm sure I'll be wrecked by evening but its just one day and I'm feeling decent so far this morning. Woke up with alot of pain but it is a bit better since I took my meds.
Sending big gentle hugs out to all who need them today - do something good for yourself today
Lisa
