The AAs have to call or text or email their sponsors every day. Since this is the best thing we got, and after reading some of the other topics, I'm going to propose that we do the same, just to touch base.
Hi, my name's Russ, and I'm a liar. I've been honest for 3 days.

I haven't checked in for awhile but I have made a lot of progress, I have learned a lot better to not react to some major triggers that would set me off with the lies. It has been really hard but I have improved in trying to express myself without the fear of disappointment or not meeting expectations steering me away from the truth. I also have done a better job of just owning my mistakes and dealing with the consequences, the truth is the better way to go and I'm not helping anyone lying about stupid petty stuff to stay out of trouble, that just paves the way for further mistrust.

My name is Dean and I haven't lied today, but got caught doing something I said I wasn't going to do. I've severely hurt my marriage through my lying. I hate disappointing my wife and family. I'm paranoid of doing things wrong and missing things, so I try to cover them up and hope they never come up. I'm trying to accept that I cannot control everything and that I will screw up. I'm a liar with ADD and working hard on changing that behavior.

My name is Jay, and I am a compulsive, obsessive liar. I lie about the simplest of things - most of them are white lies. I am trying to stop myself from lying going forward. But it is proving to be very difficult. I hope I can change because I have ruined an amazing girl's life to the point that she can never trust anything anyone says again. I want to fix the hurt and pain I have caused her. Hope this daily checking in helps me stay truthful.

Hi my name is Tom and I am a compulsive liar. Tomorrow I am going to lose the job of my dreams and put my future career in jepody. I have let my family down and I am going to lose a very special girl. However hopefully this will be the first step towards my recovery to make me a better person. All I am going to remember is what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.

hey guys, in the last two days I have made real progress. I have lied but there has been times where I have told the truth when previosuly I would have lied. Tomorrow I am going to confess to my auntie my problem. The first stage is tough but it is worth it.

I made it through another day of no lies, no hiding information of any kind. I feel very good that there is nothing in my mind that is weighing on me.

Doing better today. Grateful to have a place to get this out into light. If I don't take any action, nothing changes.

Hi, my name is David and I have been a lair for many years. I've lied to my girlfriend for almost 2 years about chatting with another woman online. I don't know if our relationship can be salvaged but I'm trying to live lie free.

I have now been lie free to two weeks (ok that was a lie but I have only told small white lies) and I am beginning to open up to people about my problems. I use to lie in order to sound more interesting or to hide mistakes, however over the last two weeks I have realised that people don’t care if you make small mistakes as we are all human and when you tell them the truth they are happy to help.
