Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Cherry - I sure hope the new pain clinic can help you. Good luck. I got my questionairre to fill out for my appt. Wednesday as well... 17 pages!
Everyone else who is struggling with pain and depression big gentle hugs to you and peace for your mind. Take care
The scariest part for me is that I have resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to feel better and this IS who I am.
I don't like this person.
Cherry
To some I say how long do you have to listen. Friend I'll say, do you want the truth, they'll say no, and I'll say, "I feel great."
To be honest, with all the outside garbage, and all the inside pain, I do feel great. Those of you who know me, know that I try to look at the glass being half full. We have to.
This Chronic Pain will not win!!
I am so grateful for friends that I have here and please understand, if I say something, I mean it. I will hold your hand and tell you all that I love you, but love yourself.
What we got is what we deal with. Let's do it together.
Please keep the posts coming. Ya'll mean the world to me.
David.
I'm here, just a usual day today pain-wise. Filled out my 17 pg questionairre for the pain clinic last night - really makes you realize how 'not ordinary' living like this is. I've been struggling since I filled it out, trying to convince myself that the pain is not real, that I can just get up and do things like 'normal' people but as soon as I move a muscle i know its very real. Going through a bit of denial I guess and wishing it wasn't so.
Gentle hugs and Peace to everyone.
You've come to the right place where there are understanding and caring people.
I went to church today. First time having to really get dressed up since the surgery. It went good.
I became a Daddy of a 9 week old shih-tzu, AKC. His name is Rocco and he's chewing on my keyboard as we speak.
I hope everyone is having a good day. I'll be
back later tonight if I have time. Rocco is a handful.
Hugs,
David.
Glad you made it to church. It must have felt good to do something 'normal'.
Hugs,
Cherry
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE!
Hugs & Prayers,
Naynie
