You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

So day 60, yippee! I have had no urges today, maybe it's cos I had no sugar yesterday. But I had some today.... So hm. Really should cut out sugar, like I keep saying I'm going to.

-LOVE Modern Family, Mad Men is the BEST, I'm HOOKED on Spartacus (the first one, with Andy W), we recently caught a bit of Masterpiece: Wallender (sp?), with Kenneth Branaugh as the Swedish detective - very well done.
