You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

Hey Granit, after a quick google search I have found a few links to therapists and trials regarding trich in Sweden. Maybe dig deeper.... You never know what you might find. What you are looking for certainly won't be on the surface. Damn you and your spotify!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!!!!!

I'm motivated!!!!! I am I am! I admit have become ever so slightly complacent, I know I know, you don't need to reprimand me about that!!! I think it's time I read some new trich articles and books. I've been having such a good time lately. It's been SUNNY and HOT!!!! For several days in a row can you believe it!!! I went to the beach, and I went on a picnic and went to a barbeque last night. I love summer, will be so sad when it's gone! I swear I have Seasonal Affective Disorder to some extent.. Or maybe I just really love summer and don't like winter!!! Ha. Also got a bit of freelance work coming in so that's great! I'm going to get one or two casual non-design jobs on top of this, so I can save for my Europe holiday. I'm slightly overwhelmed by design ... It's consumed my life entirely for 4 years, so I feel like I need a little break from it. I love doing freelance work, but I'm looking forward to some slightly brainless work on top of that, instead of doing just design for 50 or more hours a week.
