Ha yeah I've heard croc is like fish. Makes sense. They can swim so freaking fast, it's scary. So one day, a swimming area may have no crocs, but the next it does. They only really exist at the very top of Australia though. I'm vegetarian so it works out well for me that I don't have the expense of meat.

Ha yeah I understand that. By the way, Australian native animals are called "bush" or "indigenous". Safari animals are lions, giraffes, elephants. I thought you might be interested. And yeeeah I think I'll make it. It's just so easy to accidentally slip up. I certainly won't be pulling on purpose, it's just the unconscious pulls that get me. Gotta stay on guard!!

OOH exciting! There are so many places I want to visit in Australia. One of my dream trips is buying a van with a bed, and driving around the entire coast of Australia with my boyfriend. I would love to go to aus one day - I have only really been to europe and america so far, but am starting to go more places - only 4 months til I am in france again and then october we are going to Italy woo. And still lots of places in the UK to go to - going to the Lakes in August never been before. Then 2013 asia and maldives - who knows what in 2014? Life is long and I only just begun....

OH AMAAAAAZING. I'm so jealous of your travel plans. Australia effing sucks, airfares are so bloody high!! $2000 to Europe, or anywhere really. Unless it's like NZ, Fiji, or Southeast Asia.

Teaching little kiddies. Age 10-ish. Term starts Feb, there's a 6-8 week break over xmas and summer here. And yeah... Amazing :) Now I need to follow suit.

well its the upside of life in the UK - lots of places are easy to reach! But airfares have got more expensive though - our flights to france are costing about £400 (which is about 600AUSD) which if you think its only a 2 hour flight and we have to pay for luggage on top its expensive. A couple years ago it was about half that - guess that's the wanky global economy for you. Can't wait to go to Italy, I haven't been since I was a kid - we are going to Lazio about an hour from Roma!! I love Pizza, Gelato and sunshine. Did you go to italy on your trip Sam? What I find is good about europe is that you can go to the same country lots of times but there is always something new to see....we go to france a lot, but everywhere is so different. I'd like to live somewhere like france then you have borders with loads of countries - you can drive to italy, switzerland, belgium, austria, spain, andorra, germany easily - being on a island limits things a bit! but saying that I am not sure I would want to move abroad - need to get better at my languages first.

And to go to NZ or south asia is so expensive as well, I have a friend who lives in sydney and she was like "Oh I've been to Bali about 10 times" I was jealous! but its all relative I guess.

So are you looking for a job, or are you gonna stay freelance for a while? will you move in with your BF? xx

Nope didn't go to italy, sigh. I think that's a trip in itself rather than one stop in a big trip. I want to eat my way through italy. I think about moving to Europe too... Simply for easy access to so many countries. I could get so much traveling done!

I'm going to start looking for a job mid January. Want something "permanent". We're planing to move in together when I get a job. So, the pressure's on! Only pressure I'm placing on myself. Next year should be exciting..
