Ahhh, freedom, how wonderful! :-). And, nice...going for a run!! All of you ladies get so much exercise it makes me feel like the biggest bum, lol

Awesome, the no bald patches I can relate to, and I think that is what is keeping me from taking a walk in the neighborhood-the worry of the bald area. Good for you - stay strong, hands down!

I"m the same way. I look at it, and I think "hurry the eff up!" but then I make myself think about how bad it was before, most of the hair on the top of my head wasn't even there! So I TRY to appreciate it. It's hard htough.

yeah I do that too - I just look at it and can't even imagine how it was before now - am glad I have the piccies - but even the first piccies I have were 60 days pf - never had the guts to do it at its worst ( which is fair enough I was too shellshocked)

Day 131!

New hair has almost completely covered my bald spots and I'm STILL complaining about how I can't wear my hair down. I'm lucky I have hair there at all.

Oh I wish I could wear my hair down - I reckon I've got 3-4 months more of being tough before I get there though - ho hm....I go to france in october - just under 3 months time - would be lovely to be able to wear it down by then but I am not sure at all if it will work. Am aiming to get my hair cut at about xmas so in about 5 months - I would be 9 months PF (heres hoping) xxx

Judging from your photos here on ds, I’d say you can already wear it down…

I think you could wear it down, too, and I think you could get a haircut now if you wanted. It's funny, but other people just don't scrutinize our hair the way we do. I still feel like my "bald" patches are really obvious (thinner around the edges), but the people I've asked have said it looks fine, and I've asked some brutally honest people.

CONGRATS a million times on your 131 days! You're amazing! You can make it 9 months, but as Lien says, one day at a time. :)

You're doing great! Emmy's right- you are your biggest critic, really. It's like when you spend all morning trying to get your foundation to look right but then you realize no one would really have noticed the problem anyway... It's just that YOU can tell. Actually I really really like your hair!

My hair looks OK from the top and the front but from the sides its awful - its a mullet and thats not cool (or I am not cool enough to pull off a mullet!!)

As for getting its cut - the shortest strands are like an inch all over the top f my head and I am not ready to have a haircut *that short*!! x

well I was out with some friends today and someone took a piiccie of me from the worst angle ever while I was playing with her little girl in the sandpit - and you know it looks NORMAL! Completely normal no bald patches yes my hair is tied back as it will remain for the forseeable but hey!!!!
