Ahhh we had a good camp! it rained in the night but only once we were tucked up in bed and I love the relaxing rain/tent sound. Need a new tent though ours is on its last legs!

we didn't get wet - although my airbed is slightly too big and poked out the tent - I just wrapped it in pastic bag though (eve though it rained it was still warm) the location was magic - will post some piccies soon

I had a bad moment this eve - I accidently pulled a hair. I was twiddling it and it came away grrrrrrrr - its only about the 4th I have accidently in pulled in 117 days ut am soooo cross as I haven't done that for ages.

My man is ill - he has a cold so am attending to hiim!!

Ugh, I still do that occasionally. I don't get as "shocked" any more, but, I do IMMEDIATELY put down my hand and resolve not to play with my hair again. Ha of course that only lasts a day or even less, but still. If you're going to play with your hair, hairs are going to come out. Especially if you haven't washed or brushed it in a little while.

As Sam said, hairs do come out. "Normal," everyday hair loss is 50 to 100 strands a day, so you're bound to notice one of them while playing with your hair every once in a while.

And camping sounds lovely... I am jealous!

Imagine if you were trying to be completely pull-free, and counted the hair that comes out when you brush! Haha, I wouldn't worry about those accidental ones- that happens to everybody. (The amount of time I spend helping my mom get hair off the back of her jackets...) As long as you don't get into pull-mode!

Thanks for the reassurance about the hairs. Question - is it normal for hairs t come out before they have reached full length? I know I am not losing much hair as I never have to hoover my own hair up now

In the beginning of my pf, lots of short hairs came out. I was very alarmed about it. Now, not so much, but still a few short ones. Who knows, maybe those follicles are not strong enough to sustain a full life cycle.
