just had the news my uncle has died...they don't now why yet - he was only 48

Thanks guys - found out more today - basially he drank himself to death but there will be a PM on monday - then funeral - its so so sad, he was lovely, but I think he was an alcoholic :(

am OK though, had a nice day out with my hubbie - our last day before he goes to UsA for a week - gonna miss him like mad :(

Aww, poor guy. It seems like such a slippery slope with alcohol-- it's so socially acceptable to drink, I think it's way too easy to forget that it's a dangerous drug until the addiction is already there and the damage is already done.

Thanks guys, i had a long chat with my dad yesterday and my cousin today (its fathers day here) and she is pregnant with what would be his first grandchild....she is devastated poor thing.

My hubbie is sleeping after we had cake lol - men!!

Haven't had chance to read everyone elses diaries so just sending out some general love - will catch up properly soon.

tomo is 3 months pf for me as well.

Sorry for the loss, it's rough, especially when they miss the birth of the first grandchild.
We did a special photo to give the mom at the baby shower - it took a while to find the right pictures that everyone agreed looked the best, and we did a little memory book as well.

That means the cake was delicious, and he's happy. Works for me, better than him being grumpy.

Congratulations on being three months pull free.

Don't worry about us. Just focus in keeping yourself strong. What a tough thing for your whole family with him being so young.

3 months, whoo-hoo! That is awesome. Don't let your family derail you. Almost all families are dysfunctional in some way, and a crisis tends to bring everything to the surface. I'm sorry about your uncle and cousin. My parents were each in their early 20s when they lost a parent, and it's always sad to think about what they missed as a parent and grandparent.
