  I had bloodwork today as my surgeon order it to be done before surgery.  So of course I am worried about that as well now. I worry they will find something else wrong with me and that they will cancel the surgery or postpone it. I have been anemic before and so I worry about that as well. I started taking the iron pills that were prescribed for me last year.  I stopped taking them because they do a number on my stomach but like I said I was worried about anemia.   I'm having a really bad anxiety day today.  I keep spiraling.  Since my last journal I have been given a surgery date on the 4th of April.  It is about three weeks away. That seems like a really long time right now.  I want this out of me like yesterday.  Also before I have the surgery I need bloodwork, doctor's clearence, and a tag put in so that the surgeon can find the cancer.  I have set up the appointment for the doctor's clearence that is about a week before the surgery.  They are...

  Update This is an update from my last journal entry. I was finally scheduled for my mri biopsy for the 2/21 it was an uncomfortable experience although everyone was really nice.  They were able to get biopsy's of the both spots and said it would be 2-5 business days.  I work at a library which is my dream job.  I am very thankful to God for the blessing that has been working at the library.   (1/09/24) Like the title says.  I do tend to only write in here when I need to vent and worry.  This time it is a health worry.  Which if you have read any of my journal you will see it is a common entry for me.  Because of my family history and my genetic makeup I now have a yearly mammogram and a yearly breast mri just to make sure that everything is normal.  For the last few years it has all been fine.  I had my breast mri a couple of days before New Years.   I came here again because my anxiety is high because once again my eldest is not doing well in school.  He is in his junior year and as of right now is failing all three of his classes.  Two of them are almost passing but one is not.  His school doesn't require them to be in class unless there is a test or a lab in science, so getting him to go to school is almost impossible.   I only seem to come on here to vent or when I am really upset.  My health issues seem to be the same.  I still have a swollen lymph node on my neck which they have done another sonogram on and there has been no change since the last one which is good.  It still weirds me out that it has never gone away.  Something has to be causing it, my doctor doesn't seem worried though so I try not to be.  I am not sure if I ever talked about my scalp issues on here.  Where my part in my hair is I...

  A couple new updates.  My doctor's assistant finally called to tell me that the lymph node in my neck is swollen and that it is benign.  Then began the run around with trying to get my records switched from my old doctor to my new one.  I swear it was so trying for some reason I kept getting people who had no idea what to do in order to get my records switched over either that or they told me the wrong information.  It took weeks.  Finally my new doctor got my records and ordered some...

  This is going to be a full week of doctor's appointments.  I had my diagnostic mammogram & ultrasound today.  Thursday I have my breast biopsy.  Friday is my neck ultrasound so I will write about all three in this post and update as needed.So today I went to a place for my m & u to see why I have discharge from my breast.  The m was as uncomfortable as usual but not awful and the ultrasound went well.  Apparently I have a cyst and a leasion so they want to do a biopsy just to make sure...

  So I have two doctor's appointments coming up.  I have my obgyn one tomorrow and I have my gp one on tuesday.  My sister is a saint to watch my kids two days in a row like that.  Plus she didn't even ask what they were for (like I would've) so I haven't had to explain.  So tomorrow I will get to finally ask about the discharge and hopefully the doctor will either want to explore more or will be able to soothe my mind about it.  For my tuesday appointment I am hoping that the doctor willl...
