  I am new to this group I also have OCD and Bipolar.  I get depressed everytime the wind changes direction and today I am not doing good.

  I finally started to look at my Ocd and really sick of having it.  Knowing that I have OCD has answered many questions I had growing up and dealing with the damn disorder.  I even think that I should check out for good due to my whole obsession. I think that my psychiatrist doesn't want to deal with me.  He stopped seeing me every 3 months to now every 6 months.

  Beside intrusive thoughts I noticed that when I get a certain idea that I must act on, then after the idea is tried I then see the folly of that obsessed thought.  HOw do you any of you handle this OCD.

  Most ddays I ruminate my whole day and life over and over again.  Thus the ruminating.  I need to find a therapist that knows what to d???o

  I have been trying to find tools to help me with my intrusive thoughts.  The only one I have found is mindfulness mediation when when I am under attack not an on the moment helper??  What tools do any or all of you use??

  I was reading and experiencing lots of rumination during my waking hours.  I ruminate and beat myself up all day long.  Do you also ruminate often.

  What does CBT entail??  I have been reading up on intrusive thoughts and fit most of the boxes.  Actually I am spellbound because of what I thought my intrusive thoughts were a manifestion of a damaged soul.  I even joined a cult running from IT???
