It hurts I know it. These thoughts stay with you all day and just keep making themselves worse and worse. They convince you of evils that don’t even exist. They convince you that it’s good to think about them, but when you admit to yourself that these thoughts are evil and try to stop they just come back and try to convince you to keep with them. I have hurt people by allowing myself to be led by these ruminations. I let myself be convinced of things that never happened. It’s hard to fight them. The more you try to fight them the more you think about them and the worse they come back. Thank God I have found that thinking about something else with good intentions helps to remedy this. If I start ruminating about cruel things family has told me I need to recognize that these thoughts come not from my own wants, but from the hurt I have towards those things. I need to recognize that the hurt is there, allow myself to feel it, and no longer accept it as being me. If it gets to much to bear then I need to start thinking about God while being careful not to let myself do it guided by pain or I will just go back to ruminating. I believe this could help you if you try it, but trust me that it isn’t easy. I thank God that he’s helped me this far

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
