- Today has been a weird day. My anxiety level has been up and down all day... I got up feeling okay, then I thought I was feeling anxious, but I think I was probably misinterpreting signals from my body. Anyway, thinking I was anxious got me feeling...
- I got up feeling fine this morning... which lead to me starting my day without doing some of my normal "start the day" stuff. So, now here I am, mid-morning, about to head to the dentist and I'm feeling a little anxious. Not a lot... just a little....
- I've had a morning or two where I felt "jittery", but this morning when I woke up anxiety had decided to have a seat on my chest and just sort of stare at me impishly. Got my mind racing a bit... scanning the body for the all the physical signs......
- I've been doing pretty good the past handful of days. The new meds I'm on seem to be working pretty well. I had a nice long weekend... despite it being like 101 on Saturday and raining ash from forest fires in the state on Sunday. So, now, here it...
- So, that's the med my doc has me starting tomorrow. A lot of what I've seen online has been positive, but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it (and please no horror stories... Gentle warnings or things to watch for are fine)
- Woke up this morning and, again, the mind immediately lept into action. No particular thoughts, just lots of thoughts. That spinning got the anxiety going and, eventually, I kind of started panicking which lasted for a while. Now I feel tired and...
- I feel like I'm on the verge of a full-blown panic attack. I've had a rough morning... didn't sleep well, woke up early and started feeling anxious. I took some propranolol and was feeling better for a while, but now the anxiety is building up again...
- I'm finding now, as I have in the past, that after a period of intense anxiety I'm now in this place of hypervigilance where I'm sort of constantly monitoring myself for thoughts or feelings of anxiousness. It's sort of a feeling of waiting to be...
- Does anyone else ever wake up and your mind is instantly spinning and you can feel the anxiety building and you think, what am I going to do with an entire day ahead of me? I'm having a hard time finding the right words, but it's like the idea of...
- I met with my regular psych yesterday after getting out of the hospital on Monday and he wants me off the new med they put me on. All of the reasons he gave are totally valid and, honestly, I trust him more than I trust the doc at the hospital. But...
- After getting out of the hospital on Monday I'm starting back to work today. I don't know that I'm "anxious" about it, but I'm definitely nervous and feeling a bit overwhelmed. There is a lot I should be trying to catch up on, but it kind of feels...
- Just got home yesterday from a nearly week stint in the hospital. Some anxiety this morning, mostly I think because waking up at home is soooo different than waking up in the hospital, but I'm doing much better. Got my meds tweaked a bit and was...
- I think my fear about the direction my anxiety is heading has finally gotten the better of me and I'm going to head to the hospital to see if they can help me get this under control. I don't want to continue down path of this getting worse and worse...
- Hey Everyone, I'm new here. I've dealt with anxiety off and on for most of my adult life, including some really bad episodes. I've been largely ok for the past 5 or 6 years. I've been anxious from time to time, but nothing really terrible. But...
