I feel like I'm on the verge of a full-blown panic attack. I've had a rough morning... didn't sleep well, woke up early and started feeling anxious. I took some propranolol and was feeling better for a while, but now the anxiety is building up again and I'm not sure what to do. I'm trying to just breath. I called my psych to ask if I could take a vistaril on top of the propranolol and I'm waiting to here back from him. I've got a couple of work meetings that are set to start in just a few minutes... Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
Steadying support while you find your way through, Brockster. Be gentle with yourself and trust the process. Keep heart.
Writing it out is one of the best ways to release the words in a safe way.
maybe a nice youtube meditation would help?
You're doing!
Sounds like victory to me. What's easy got to do with it?
“Well the panic seems to have dissipated, at least for now.” I’m happy for you.
I have a friend who experiences panic attacks almost everyday and listening to worship songs helps her to stay calm. I’m glad that tea and sitting on your couch helps you to feel relaxed.
I pray that you will remain strong each day. Take care and God bless.
