Couple years ago, I was writing with a woman online who said the gabapentin has changed her life. No more anxiety. She is driving again, working again, going out, etc.
All she said was it made her very drowsy, sleepy, for 3 or so weeks. That was the only side effect.... really tired at first. But after the 3 weeks, she was all "cured" it seemed.
Let us know how you do on it! Give it a try!
I took my first pill this morning. I had take a klonopin yesterday evening which, no doubt, helped me sleep better than I had been. So I woke up without the insta-panic, which was a huge win. But it also meant I already felt a little groggy, so it's tough to tell if the gaba added to that. But, so far, I'm feeling pretty calm.
I'm starting at like 300mg twice a day and we'll see where it goes from there. Fingers crossed!
It did help reduce the anxiety significantly and the grogginess took a bit to go away.
Best wishes!
