  My significant other and I both suffer from mental illnesses. I deal mostly with anxiety and panic attacks with depression on occasion but he mainly deals with major depression with suicidal tendencies and potential self-harm. I have tried to understand what he is going through using my own personal experiences but the way he experiences depression is significantly different than my own.If anyone had any tips on how to be supportive for someone with depression without being cliche I would...
