  Found out at 42 I was adopted, both sets of parents now passed away. My family which adopted me were so much of a family that is until Dad passed away in 2010. After the 1/4 of a million dollar estate settled, My "sister" which was the executor of the estate, met with me and said, since I was "step" & not a real son, I was welcomed anytime to the summer cottage, but don't have a key to it like I've have all my adult life. + I received a 18,000 check divided between my 1 brother & 3 sisters....
