  Hi y'all. I just joined. Honestly don't know that I'm an alcoholic but I at least have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. I get euphoric when I drink, and so I have a history of drinking to mask emotions even if I don't technically binge drink. And I have a history of drinking even while on some pretty dangerous medications to mix with drinking. I'll go months without drinking, but in that meantime, there will be days or even week's where I will do nothing but think about and fantasize...

  I've been dealing with a whole slew of new or worse health issues over the past 6 months and had been keeping pretty stable emotionally. I had an appointment today, though, where my PT mapped out all the different treatment plans and programs and consultations that have been recommended, that I need to do, and it really overwhelmed me. I'm also going to start needing a wheelchair at least part time, and talking about that too... I came home and realized I was actually depressed and had been...
