  Well it has been awhile since I have been on this site. In the beginning, I think it saved my sanity. Eventually I didn't need to hear everyones stories to help me not feel so alone. I have also joined a FB support group but in time my posting have also been less and less. I guess I am moving forward and just living my life.   When my husband died over a year ago, he left no will. He did leave several credit card debts. Since I lived in a community state I was under the impression that I would be responsible to pay so I have been making minimum payments since his death. I have not notified any of the CC companies of his death as I was scared they would ask for the full payment which I couldn't afford. I went to a legal document company to submit some paperwork for me on a car he had and let's just say they scammed...

  i feel so out of it today. I am not weepy or crying but I am so unmotivated. Haven’t showered in 2 days. Still in my pj’s and it is 6pm. I have a house to clean and gifts to wrap. I am 9 months in. I think my grief is catching up with me. I was busy with the kids and selling my house and then the move. Now all the renovations have been done and the kids are settled in.   It has been 9 months since my husband passed away. Though I think about him everyday, it does overpower me like it used to. I moved closer to my family so my kids could know the family but this has brought on a whole new set of issues. I have not lived in the same state as my family for over 25 years so I feel in ways I don't know them well. A weekly call is very different from seeing them several times a week.   Yesterday we were hit with a winter snow storm. I have lived in California for the last 25 years so this is the first storm I have seen since moving out east. My brother had invited me over for his wife birthday. We were having pizza and game with the kids. I left early and drove slow, he only lives 3 miles away.   i told my kids we will go get a tree today, I am so dreading this event. The fact is I feel numb to the holidays this year. I made it through our anniversary, Halloween and thanksgiving but Christmas has really done me in. My husband loved Christmas and was excited each year.   I think today was one of the first day in which I felt I could or wanted to really grieve. It has been 8 months since Brad died but I have been to busy to let it out.
