I lost my husband about 3 years ago. He was my everything, my supporter, the father of my children and my world. He passed away suddenly 6 months after his father. We retired in 1993 from the military and moved close to family. Looking back on things now I feel that was a mistake.our lives changed so much. I really miss his company and conversation. I sit day after day looking for someone to talk to other than my children as everyone seemed to have left at the same time as my husband. Just want conversation and friends.

I am looking for someone or somewhere my daughter in flordia can discuss her 14yr. Old daughters cutting and suite thoughts. She really needs to talk to someone who has dealt with this. Her daughter has been in the hospital numerous times and it doesn't seem to help. Is there a support group she can join that is monitored for scammers and fakes. Please help. Thanks

Just thought I would put this out for others opinions and comments. I have been feeling overwhelmed for some time now. I lost my husband 4 yrs ago and became ill. I can no longer drive so I am homebound most of the time. I have no friends that have contacted me much since my husband's passing. My mind keeps spinning in circles. I am trying to move forward with my life but either I get stuck or set back. I just passed my 3rd year of being alone. I thought the pain was easing but the feelings of loneliness and being alone hit hard. I have fallen back into the no ambition mode and constant mind turning. As I stated on my post the 30th my husband's sister lost her husband, of course the same day as my husband died. I have not spoken to her or her sister in over a year. They basically pushed me out of their lives and don't call or let me know things that go on with their families. Since Friday I haven't talked to either one. My feelings are all mixed up today. I got woken up this morning by my sister calling telling me my sister-in-laws husband passed away. Three years ago today my husband passed. Since then his sisters have basically stayed out of my life. I feel bad for her as I know how it feels but at the same time I don't as she has excluded me from her life. How are you to trust someone you try and be friends with through a support group and when you start having a conservation they friend you on Facebook and disappear from the original group
