Did 2 walks yesterday and 2 already today

By the way, Leo here on DS PTSD explained why my class was so terrible Wed. night. It wasn't me or my computer or even my wifi provider. A glitch happened in Brooklyn that affected the whole east coast. I emailed the news to my students and copied it to my boss.

What a relief.

Rizen, how are your walks going? Muji, glad that it was just an outage. Leo called it. I’m glad things are better for you. Glad you are getting those walks in. I’ve had relief this week because the splint adjustment handle broke and a new one had to be ordered. I can’t believe I have 1 more month. I asked my therapist how many of these splints come back in pieces, ...like someone ran back and forth over them with their car. He thought it was funny. I understand the theory of stretching, but this borders on torture. I finally have the ok to start walking short distances,

Funny, my community college IT folks didn't know it was an East Coast outage until I told them. Good thing I'm on DS where people know what's actually going on, huh?

Did one walk today, super stiff and don't know why. Gonna do another 'cause gained a pound or so from some ice cream sandwiches I enjoyed.

It snowed a ton today, but I still got TWO WALKS in anyway. How about you, Rizen? Did you walk outside or did you pace indoors?

I've walked outside the last few days as the weather's been nice. My mom fell down at an ATM machine and banged her face up pretty bad and broke her glasses. I've been having to help her out even more lately because of it, including driving her to appointments. I have a lot of anxiety about driving so it's been hard.

Glad the weather's been nice where you live, Rizen, it's been horrific here but I still got 2 walks done in the snow.

I just got through two weeks of appointments of my own, and I hated it. So glad that's done, it amped my anxiety up a lot. So sorry your mom's face is banged up and her glasses are broken. Is she healing ok? Can she get another pair of glasses soon?

Ohh Rizen, I hope your mom is recovering from her fall. Driving gives me anxiety too. I am sure she really appreciates your help. Glad you found time to walk and take care of your needs as well. Take care.

Yeah, Rizen, how's your mom? Been thinking about you and her. As for me, my boss is plenty upset with me about my not having great virtual teachings skills. But as much as it bummed me out I still got TWO snowy walks in and that made my day!

Still snow on the ground, but sunny and warmer for 2 walks today, thankfully.

Same as yesterday, Rizen, so got 2 walks in again because the forecast is for another snow storm tomorrow. Then who knows? I bought a snow shovel t0 get ready.

Muji, glad to see that you are walking. Keep up the good work. I hope your admin has mellowed out now and classes are going ok. I am fighting MRSA per my post “Stressed to the Max” so I am on and off DS, trying to recover.

My mom's doing alright but won't be able to drive for some time. First she needs cataract surgery then new glasses.
Sorry your boss is mad at you mujica. At least vaccines are coming out and we'll be able to return to normal soon.

I paced around today and yesterday.

Wish you didn't have to pace 2 days running, Rizen. Getting outside is so much better, isn't it? My right knee is sore where that kid on his bike ran over me day before yesterday on my sidewalk, but I got my first walk in anyway, still without a cane. I took a route in the opposite direction away from where the bike riding kid lives to be safe. Hope my knee holds up for a second walk later on. I'm sticking to my diet and having a chicken salad for dinner to keep my 110 pounds I lost off, so I hope I can finish the day with my 2nd walk that's keeping the weight off, too.

I'm going to have to have cataract surgery like your mom next year. Hope hers goes well now.

Did 2 walks today on that new route to avoid the kid who ran me over with his bike a couple of days ago. But I was walking uphill with my head down and when I looked up there he was coming at me with 3 of his little friends. Yikes-I was startled.

He didn't say anything, but one of his buddies said hi. Whew!

I walked 2.1 miles yesterday and today.
