Muji, it would be weird walking in your old neighborhood, but your almost finished here in the US.
I have been walking some, but caring for my husband and trying to stay on top of my PTSD has been challenging.
Secouya, hope your husband improves, for his sake and for yours both.
Me, I'm hoping to walk in the cool of the evening today.
Unlike where you are muji it was quite a sharp cold this morning here but at least it wasn’t raining.
I went to Wyoming to help my mom visit her friend. It wasn't my ideal vacation but I did do some sightseeing.
I walked 2.1 miles today and 2 days ago.
Muji, my husband seems to have permanent brain damage which is hard for both of us. Still waiting on a final diagnosis, but doctors think it’s an inflammatory disease like MS or dementia. They are leaning towards MS because of some of his symptoms.. I ‘m scared and feel alone, but I’m trying to be strong for him. My knee is doing really good. I am happy that you made retirement and can start your new life. Keep up the walking. I am trying to walk more.
I walked a long way up hill and down dale at a safari/conservation park today. It was wonderful but exhausting. Was worried about being mugged by two 6 ft tall kangaroos guarding the trail but they left me unmolested lol. They are wild animals, not exhibits. There is some great work being done there breeding endangered animals in natural surroundings. The largest park outside Africa.
You’ll be home soon muji and walking in your favourite surroundings too.
Her condition is what I call "mechanical" in the sense that it's about plumbing breaking in the brain and being repaired there. MS is a different condition entirely, much more mysterious in its comings and goings. I understand why you'd be scared about it in its unpredictability. Kind of like PTSD itself is unpredictable, you know?
I haven't been on a walk yet today because it got up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit here, so I'm letting it cool off until 9pm or so before walking. Yeah, Loo, I'm looking forward to getting back to Mexico and walks there come Wednesday. I like my walks with lots of other people around sharing the sidewalk with me there rather than these solo walks here in the USA where everybody drives cars rather than walk.
I walked 2 miles today.
