Good for you, getting walks like that in for all but one day. Same here. I worked my part time weekend job again for the 4th weekend straight. Usually I alternate one weekend on, one weekend off. But since I'm retiring soon I've been more in demand. It's nice for have some extra money, but I was so tired after working my part time morning that I slept all afternoon and evening and there was no walk for me. Looking forward to one tomorrow.

I really hope for a turnaround toward the better in your husband's health soon. You're still on the mend yourself, aren't you, secouya?

Rizen glad you are exercising. I on the other hand have not had much time trying to look after my husband and also try to take care of my needs.

We still have no results from my husbands MRI. I think my husband’’s neurologist is waiting on completion of the spinal tap to see if there is any inflammation which could indicate a brain tumor or MS. His brother has MS, I keep praying it’s not either one.. I. watched his brother go from a medical program developer to now, not being able to move or communicate clearly with anyone. I don’t think he even recognizes us anymore.. it really scares me. I’m still recovering but able to move around pretty normally.

I took a walk today, which felt good!

Holy cow, what a busy day teaching, and then there was prep for my weekend part time job, which I've worked now for a month straight. That means my sick day last week was the only day off for me in 30. Still, I got a walk in today. I also got my kidney ultrasound scheduled at the hospital for May 14th.

Work is really sucking on my way to retirement, but I still got a walk in. And you?

No walk for me today because I got my 2nd COVID-19 vaccine shot, the one that's been reported to have some side effects. Since I collapsed and fainted one day at home last week, I'm heeding the nurse's warnings to take it easy just in case. Hope y'all are getting out and about, though.

2 walks for me today because despite a good 8 hour night's sleep the night before I had no energy Saturday and slept all day, too. When I finally woke up and got out of bed at 5pm it scared me, so I decided to get as active as I could. 2 walks. It's not depression or anything that's making me so tired, I push through when I can be awake. Hope this kidney ultrasound tells what's going on.

I walked 2.1 miles the last 5 days. I'm in line figuratively for a covid shot. The clinic will call me when my turn comes. I hope I get it soon.

Good to hear from you, Rizen. Glad you've been walking, too. I already got my walk in today myself. On Friday I got my 2nd Moderna vaccine shot for covid. I got a little sore in the arm where the needle went in, got a little breathing symptom since I used to be a smoker, but the big thing was I slept all day Saturday. So be prepared.

Sorry, was off for a few days out of town. I really needed a break. I don’t how much walking I did, but it was a lot. I had my second shot last Wednesday. I expected a sore arm, but it never did. I hope you start feeling better Muji.

Good for you Rizen. My husband had Pfizer and I had Moderna. Neither of us had many symptoms. My husband had a sore arm each time. I had a little rash the first shot, but no symptoms the second shot.

Secouya, good to have you back, we missed you. How's your husband? It's great to be vaccinated for me because pandemic exhaustion has set in among my neighbors and when I go for a walk there's no more social distancing nor masking any more.

Thanks Muji, my husband is different. He was playing phone tag with his doctor so I still am not sure. It’s really hard to describe. In some instances he is child like and other times he is right on. I’m worried because he is working and I am not sure he will be able to do his work. I don’t know what to do. He thinks he is perfectly fine.

People here are the same, some wearing masks others are not. I went to a restaurant and ate this weekend. First time in over a year. Tables were really spaced out so I felt ok about it. The only problem we had is that my dog’s breed is not well known and everyone wants to pet my dog which really is not social distancing. This happens every time we’ve had our dogs with us. In fact one time this art gallery wanted to paint my dogs for their gallery. Sometimes it makes it hard for us to relax.

Hope your hubby wins at phone tag with is doctor. That's not a fun game because odds are stacked against the individual patient vs an office staff. It took 2 weeks of phone tag for me to get that kidney ultrasound scheduled for next month.

I've gone out to a restaurant, too. In fact, that's where I'm writing from right now. All that's open is a Burger King, but I'm having a chicken salad. Never thought I'd be so excited to be at a fast food joint, but I am. It's safe, only 2 of us are in here. I don't have a dog, so nobody's coming over to break social distancing with me. That's got to be irritating to you because it comes meant as a compliment but it's dangerous. Argh the irony.

Had to nap for 2 hours after teaching today, but now I have my sneakers on to walk after I finish my salad. The weather's nice for it.

Attorneys, doctors, pain management group, dog club meeting and calls from Community Emergency Communication groups about a particular area. It’s midnight and I’m just settling down.
