Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
When you start recovering and learn the art of taking care of ourselves and our responsibilities and dealing with life on life's terms, this flaw will improve. At least it has for me, and I was a HUGE procrastinator.

I am MRB and am a big fat liar who is figuring it out one day at a time.
So glad you are sharing pretty much on a daily basis. I am really encouraged to see your progress.
In Al-Anon, when I first started, I was in a relationship I had been in for 4 years and I think I had come to the program to get permission to leave and for people to tell me I had to get out. I wanted people to tell me that my partner had the problem, not me and that my actions were justified. Of course that wasn't the case and I was ready to start working on myself after awhile. They recommended to me (and AA is the same way), to not make any major decisions for 6 months while you're learning the program and building your self esteem back up. Also they recommended not confronting anyone and working your 8th and 9th steps before making amends to people. Just recommendations though, but it usually for good purpose.

Have a great day, I am MRB and I am a liar!
I am MRB and I am a liar. I have discovered another way and atmosphere I lie in. I do not like to let people know I am feeling bad or am down. Sometimes life throws disappointments, like I applied and was interviewed for a great position and found out I did not get it. It really saddened me and today I am feeling the panic of it. Usually I tell people I am fine and justify things, I am trying to be honest with my feelings and needs in order to be verbally honest with m y words. I never realized I was liar at so many levels. I am back on the horse and just writing about it motivates me to keep moving on. For today I am a liar and will find more ways and reasons to remain as honest as possible.
Thanks, I am MRB fighting for one more day of not lying.
I've been consumed with self pity and use that as an excuse to not work the steps I need to get better.
I'll try to do better and work this program so we can all benefit from our mutual support.
One day at a time..
Johnny
