Checking in mid-day. I feel it helps. I did not realize how hard it is not to tell a lie when I am actually concentrating on it. I have been in denial for so long. I even lied to myself that I don't lie. Today, I lied once to a random person but then I immediately stated out loud, no that is not correct, that's a lie I am sorry, right to that person. It was a stupid lie for no reason and had no meaning. It was really hard to admit it but I did. I feel like every word sits right in my chest ready to come out a lie.
Sincerly, struggling and fighting it!
Ready to start my day. May I know how to be honest with each and everyone I come in contact with today. No exaggerations, no lies. Day to day.
My name is Matthew and I am a liar. I have been honest for 4 days.
Ever since I was little, I would lie about things to get attention from my parents. I used to be a great student, an awesome daughter/sister, and a decent friend. After the stress of work, school, and all the lies I've been buried under came to a point... I am trying to make things right.
My new marriage is at its breaking point. I will be very lucky, if I can save whatever I have left. Though I do not deserve it. He has forgiven me countless times and all I have done is screw it up.
I love him with all my heart. I have let him down. He gave me so many chances. I had said in the past I would get help, but did not follow through. I was on the right path, but just like other issues, I fell off the wagon big time. I got caught, lost my job and I am about to lose the only person that matters to me..my husband.
I need to get my act together. Any input or words of encouragement would be appreciated.
