Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
you are not whining hun. I f I can do it, why can't you!!!!
This is what we are here for.
I have to try to eat some dinner now.
Went to the PM doc yesterday. He's trying to cut back my opiate need and gear more toward the anti-inflammatory stuff. Nerve pain is in check with my SCS. I finally got him to tell me I'm probably as good as I'm gonna get. I have good and bad days, hopefully he'll find the right combo to increase my quality of life.
Have a great day.
David.
You guys are all having such a rough time. ((((((gentle hugs to you all)))))))).
I got home from work yesterday and my siblings had only half moved my parents so of course I helped finish it off. I'm in pain today, of course. But my stomach is burning and I just took T-3's and it's worse. It's going to be a looooong day at work, of course.
Of course, I'm not a horse.
Anyway, I guess I'm in a bitchy mood today! I had nightmares all night and they are so real! I just found out my neighbor who I saw every day died last night of a heart attack. Feels kindof weird!
Hope you all have a good day!
Hugs

Feeling really blah lately and hoping to get out of this funk soon. I wish there was such a thing as a happy pill.
Hope everyone is going to have a good holiday weekend, I am going to the downtown Arts, Eats and beats festival should be fun.
The last couple of days have been difficult. Ever since my last seisure I have had increased headpain and nervepain. So it has become difficult to cope. My doctor is on vacation, but I have an appointment with her as soon as she returns. I know that this will pass, but your prayers will be welcomed.
I am thinking about all of you and keeping you in my prayers. Hugs to one and all, Cathy
Hope you feel better soon.
I had my second trial for RFA, today no mistakes, and no pain for a while. so the 14h I go in for one side to get done for real. Pdoc last time went in to far and thats why I fell, he said he was very sorry, I am glad he took responsablity.
David- I do hope they find the right thing for you.
Manny- I think we would all love a happy pill from time to time, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm glad the block was good. I have had many RFA's, all successful, which led to my SCS. Has your doctor mentioned the option of a SCS?
