Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Right now I am scared, because my doctors are saying that my pain is for live and there is nothing to do about it, and the worst thing is that there is no pill that reliefs the pains.
I wish you all the best. Keep fighting!
Hope everyone is doing fine and for the sisters and brothers that need a hug here is a soft one.
I'm sorry that you don't have anyone treating your pain. I haven't found any pills to eliminate the pain, but maybe you could find a doctor who could give you some kind or treatment.
Anyway, glad you're here. Come back.
David.
Welcome drica - never give up hope. I have had CP for many, many years - some (the constant headaches for about 50) and it is only in the last two weeks or so that I have found a pain killer that works for ME...........!
And many others on here will tell similar stories.
Whether there is something that will help with yours?
Well I guess that depends on what is causing it to a large extent. In my case most of it is osteoarthritis. And it is for life.
Have a great day one and all.
Put on those happy faces as we go out into the world, we deserve to be happy!
I am also so glad that we have a place to go and talk and figure out how we live the way we live and still have a great productive life.
They told me that the pain is for life. However, they are always trying to get me new painkillers, but my body doesn't respond to them. Even with little things, like when your throat hurts when you have a cold. Its weird. Not even morphine worked.
I deal with pain every day and probably will forever but I think I am getting to the point of coming to terms with all of it .. at least today lol.
I will take a hug though. a hug always makes it better !!!!
So glad you're here. Congats on kicking the habit. As an ex-smoker, many years removed, I know how tough it is.
(((((((((((((((((( you ))))))))))))))))))))). That's your virtual hug. You have a great day.
David.
i just want to complain for a minute
i'm old and rickety!!!!!!!!
ah that felt good LOL
I don't know about the old part, but I think we're all a little rickety.
Jon,
Welcome, and thanks for joining in. Come back.
David.
You are not the only one that gets in these setbacks. I feel the same way at times. I hate that your meds are messed up. Hopefully they'll get it straight. Until then hang in there and here's a hug right back.
David.
That is all
