I get fever, chills, stomach ills with severe pain. I take a daily NSAID that seems to keep this at bay most of the time. When the sore throat, sinus trouble and other "flu" type symptoms come, then I figure that I have some virus.


Again, I have to warn you that I tend to fail to panic.

Today - for the first time in a while - we have blue skies and the sun is shining. It is still cool but it is a really lovely day.
Hopefully we will have a few more like it before the nest lot of rain comes.

Woke up with a headache but that has gone now and so has the fluid retention that was in my right leg last night - which means I lost back the weight I gained from that. Even my tinnitus is quieter today.

Gonna be a good day I think!

i so need a nice, gentle hug. i can't get my lidocaine patch on alone and i'm alone and feel very alone. i barely slept last night from pain and heat and food poisoning, so today was a wash before i got up. just one of those awful days.i hope everyone is feeling better than this.

I am fairly new here, but, find this group to be very warm and welcoming. Thank you.

I have had chronic pain since 1982....but, I am a very positive person and refuse to let it get the best of me. I always see the glass half full. I have a supportive family and am VERY blessed...I do not take anything for granted.

Today.....I feel good. I hope you all can feel the same way soon.

I am grateful for this group! My pain is very high today, so I will start a new thread to ask for advice/support. But, in general I am feeling blessed and very lucky to have found this group. I hope you all have a low pain day. Kristi :)

I'm a happy person with challenges....but over this 23 yrs of cp I still have hope.

Well, that was a short lived OK. The senile dog is having a "sane" spell (sorry, don't know the PC). He woke me about 30 mins ago to go outside to pee and poop. That is the first in months.

Now I am awake and can't sleep.

Oh well.

You guys are awesome. This thread turned out to be a great thing for me to meet new fellow cp people. I just want to let ya'll know that this is a great place. There may be times when people have differences of opinion, but try not to get sucked into the negativity. My profile is open if anyone has any questions, or wants to give hugs, very therapeutic,.

I am just so happy to hear what you all are saying.

I feel as good as my crippled neck will allow me to feel, but my Spirit is great!!!!
