Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Wide awake again tonight.
i don't think i will be for long, i can't fight a nice fight here, i feel infected by what our "resident" does to people here and the toll of trying to knock down his totem of grandeur, righteousness and coldness is just too much for me to deal with every day.
i'm still here, so far. all of the great, true personalities here, raise a swallow cup to how far we all will go. if we work with our own doctors, don't let friends, family or rogue med students interfere with our gut, our treatment and our minds. some of ours very sensitive right now.
call your own shots and remember!!! you are paying your doctors, not the other way. cast a vote for cc's abuse to end, if you've got the time.
if i felt safe here, i'd be of much better use to us.
much love to all of my buddies here.

Hugs to all and an extra warm embrace to all those having a hard weekend.
At least here we seem to be free of any "debunking of our pain" so far. I'm sorry that those "discussions" cause you to feel unsafe brokenyolk. It is very distressing that so many posts now get hijacked by Mr Ye Shall Take No Meds... and that members then feel compelled to waste precious time and energy to point out how lacking in compassion, understanding, sensitivity and empathy he is (not to mention that he has no idea what it's like to live with chronic pain), when they could be much better employed giving support and hugs to the members here who do have chronic pain.
Sorry you are having so much trouble sleeping Sunny. It is such a viscous circle when pain stops us from sleeping adequately... because without enough sleep we are unable to cope with our pain as well as we would if we were sleeping enough. Sorry you are also suffering from sleep deprivation rayfoof.
Sorry to hear that your back is having a tantrum 1littleb... I hope it settles back down really soon. Have you considered getting a phone with multiple handsets so that you can have one close enough to your bed to be able to answer it without getting up?
We have had 24 hours of torrential rain here... which makes me feel rather down in the dumps... I need blue sky and sunshine in order to feel good. Yes I know I would be very sad if it never rained, because all the trees and flowers that I love so much would all keel over and die... but I think it should only be allowed to rain at night, so we get the blue sky and sunshine during the day... lol.
Sending gentle hugs and warm smiles to all the cpers...
take care... xxx
First I would like to say thank you to the family members of, and to those, if they can hear me, for making the ultimate sacrifice.
It is Memorial Day and I am at work. I would like to wish all others a great day also.
I feel as good as my crippled neck allows me to.
I would also like to say, "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain." Hopefully he doesn't take a leak,( excuse me ), all over this thread too.
Gaye, you are awesome. To all others here my heart of compassion is upon you. Please check in and let us know how you are doing today.
David.
I have always been envious of the people on DS who knew how to send hugs that have hearts and additional characters etc in them. If anyone knows how to do it would you perhaps share the explanation with us here on this thread... I would be very grateful because I just love sending hugs.
Wishing all the cpers a minimum pain day. Take care... xxx
You just made my day. I'm sorry that you're struggling, but if it means anything to you I was really hopeful that you were still around. We are trying to keep this going so if you want to just check in and say I'm here, or I need a hug, please do it.
Your friend,
David.
So frusterating to not be able to tell the difference between a cold and your illness
I'm still watchign this thread
Support to all my fellow cper's.
David.
