First of all, I would like to clarify that this thread is in no way intended to be disrespectful to anyone.
With that being said, I have always wondered how people lose their libido, or desire to have sexual relations. My wife basically lost it all after our children were born. For me this was extremely difficult for me to handle. But I did handle it for years and stood by her side patiently (until she dumped my ass).
Where did the libido go? Should someone in a relationship still make an effort to please their partner even though they have no libido?

i feel that there is an obligation to have sex or sexual release with your partner. if you don't... they will need to find that release somewhere else. that is how i feel.
there were plenty of times that i wasn't "in the mood" but i would participate. of course, if i really didn't want to then i wouldn't. but for the most part i would get out of my mood and please my partner sexually. in turn, i would hope that he would do the same for me.
relationships are a partnership.. and sexuality is most certainly part of it. IMO
