First of all, I would like to clarify that this thread is in no way intended to be disrespectful to anyone.
With that being said, I have always wondered how people lose their libido, or desire to have sexual relations. My wife basically lost it all after our children were born. For me this was extremely difficult for me to handle. But I did handle it for years and stood by her side patiently (until she dumped my ass).
Where did the libido go? Should someone in a relationship still make an effort to please their partner even though they have no libido?

@Bear -- that's a great point. Although I'm not going to assume all men are sociopaths like my ex based on my experience, we do tend to draw conclusions about people based on our experiences with our exes and other factors like age, race, geographic area etc. Listening to others teaches us our assumptions are rarely true.
