Spin pins are these spiral shaped pins that you can use to secure a bun. You can see them at goodysimplestyles.com. I really like using them because they stay in all day and they don't pull or dig. They look scary, but don't seem to hurt my curly hair. Just thought I'd mention them since I bun my hair too.

You are doing awesome!! No more headbands (unless you want to wear one of course) that's quite a feat! HOORAY!

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I don't think we'll have to struggle our whole lives. I think we will reach a point where we truly overcome it, period. We are all strong and intelligent beings and we have each other, that's a huge plus!

And everyone, bad news, but not really, but kinda. I was wrong about not having to wear the headband. After a little bit of moving around and then looking in the mirror, I saw that I truly do still need to wear it for a bit longer. Oh well!!! Headbands kinda suit me. It's just a thin one anyway, not some 80's chunky thing.

EEP! Not sure if I pulled a hair out or not. It came out, and I felt MILD barely there pleasure. I was deep in thought... It was NOT on purpose. I didn't even know I was doing it. I didn't even know I was playing with my hair! (Cos I don't allow that any more). It came out without a fight.... I'm not going to take it as an injury. It was a total mistake. I'm just on my guard even MORE now!!!! Haha. Really need to have my head covered when I'm working.....

It IS hard!!! One of my favourite things is daydreaming, I do it all the time, even if I don't want to. Arg. I'm heading over to my stu's place this afternoon, blowing up the kiddie pool i bought and setting it up on his front balcony. Then two of our friends are coming over and we'll make cocktails and listen to music and eat. Very much looking forward to it. I hate making bug plans for new years as it never works out!!! How about you?
