  I had another lyme patient tell me they hey were aking all sorts of Pro Biotics and they couldn't live without them. I asked the the naturalpath Dr and she said it wouldn't help. She said the the pro would be killed off as fast as you take them.What is the advice and if I need them which are the best for the money

  I get to join another part of DS !! I have been in the hep C support group for a few years.I just got diagnoised with Lyme and Q fever. I was on interferon ( nasty, nasty, nasty stuff) for Hep C.   Does anyone know if Igenex is trying to get accepted as an qualified and accepted lab for diagnoses? The infectious disease doctors use the Elise test which everyone knows is not reliable. Every doctor Ive been to except my LLMD think Igenex is a scam. I think me testing positive from Igenex is the correct diagnoses. Like many others I have been to so many doctors with no other answers.. If Igenex got accredited wouldnt we get more support from insurance and other disability issues? Wouldnt...

  Both my white blood cells and platelets are below normal and dropping. Does anybody know if the antibiotic effect the white blood cells?

  I had a C4a test that came back around 8500. I read normal was 2400. How much of an indication is this of Lyme. I know nothing about Lyme except that a high C4a test might be an indicator. I have recently gone through a chemo for Hep c and have many issues from that poison. Hopefully the high C4a test is from that too- not lyme.I do have empathy for those of you with lyme, a friend of mine has it and it has devestated her life.

  I have a relative who is helping in every way she can. She just got back from a clinic that does ozone, oxygen and other treatments for various things including Lyme. She has reccomended that I look into it.has anyone had any succuess in these areas. In this particular clinic you have to go and get treatments everyday for weeks.If I thought others had been helped I would give it a try but if not I have to pick and choose what I can spend the money that might help.I am doing the traditional...

  I am almost done with my 29 days of insurance with Rocephin. I am also adding Flagyl. The doctor is recommending 3 to 6 months. I am looking for a pharmacy that will sell without insurance, hopefully with a cash discount.I have found that the drugs are very cheap to order in powder form. By the time you get them compounded and the lines to go with them it is over $200 a day.Anyone have a suggestion on where to purchase?

  Where is the best price? I have Blue Cross PPO and they don't pay any of it. I get mine at Costco and I'm spending about $1,200 a month. I've been taking it twice a week for 8 months. I do 2.4 million twice a week.Beside being very expesive my ass hurts so much it is hard to sit down.I wish sitting was my biggest problem!

  Among all the other antibiotics I am on Alinia. I pulse 5 days on and 9 days off. I get more reaction from my body from Alinia then anything else. I always look forward to my 9 days off. Beside making me feel bad it gives me lots of dreams and nightmires. I was wondering if others get the same reaction.Besides being hard on the body it is terribly expensive. One month supply from Costco is $880.

  Been sick for 5 years. Tested positive for Lyme and a couple of other tick bacterial illnesses. Did oral antibiotics for 2 1/2 years and IV antibiotics for 5 months. I'm still ill.I started looking into Dr Shoemakers protocol. For people with Lyme who don't get better with antibiotic treatments this might be something to try.
