C4a test

I had a C4a test that came back around 8500. I read normal was 2400.
How much of an indication is this of Lyme. I know nothing about Lyme except that a high C4a test might be an indicator.
I have recently gone through a chemo for Hep c and have many issues from that poison. Hopefully the high C4a test is from that too- not lyme.
I do have empathy for those of you with lyme, a friend of mine has it and it has devestated her life.

Sorry to hear you are dealing with chemo and Hep C. I have had a lot of tests for various things over the past 12 years. However, I have not heard of the C4a test so I am looking it up on Google.

hey there, my C4a was 28,000 (@ 25,000 too high). I stopped all gluten, refined sugar, no dairy, and did @9 months of antibiotics. Now it is 6,000 too high. I am less puffy and less achy. Supposedly it's a measurement of cellular inflammation that helps measure progress with some disease processes.
