Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I get to join another part of DS !! I have been in the hep C support group for a few years.
I just got diagnoised with Lyme and Q fever. I was on interferon ( nasty, nasty, nasty stuff) for Hep C. It ruined my thyroid, and I have been sick since.
I remember getting a tick about 10 years ago. My guess is the interferon lowered my immune sysem to a point the Q and Lyme took off running.
Bedsides feeling like crap all the time I have chest pain and my vision gets blurred sometimes. I went to eye doc and he said that couldn't be happening. I said I wish you could see it from this side! Do others have these vision issues?
Also my body temperature has never come back up. It runs about 96 and down. It that a symptom of Lyme?

I agree with Dannyboy, many of your symptoms go along with Lyme.
You should go to an LLMD and get checked out! Regular doctors generally dismiss Lyme or else have no idea, because it is so complex.
