Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I am almost done with my 29 days of insurance with Rocephin. I am also adding Flagyl. The doctor is recommending 3 to 6 months. I am looking for a pharmacy that will sell without insurance, hopefully with a cash discount.
I have found that the drugs are very cheap to order in powder form. By the time you get them compounded and the lines to go with them it is over $200 a day.
Anyone have a suggestion on where to purchase?

Of course they will. As long as you have a doctor's rx.
Walmart and Costco were selling (don't know if it's still true) generic drugs for very little profit (to them).
" A few years ago Wal-Mart received a lot of publicity about their policy of selling generic prescription medications to people without insurance. For $4, an uninsured person could get a one month supply of a generic medication. $10 bought 3 months of the same medication. This looked like another Wal-Mart attempt to undercut the competition. But the thing that almost no one reported was that ANY pharmacy could sell most of their generic medications for the same price as Wal-Mart and still make a profit. The real story was that no one else did what Wal-Mart was doing. Wal-Mart wasn't doing this for charity, or because they had special purchasing power. Costco does the same thing in a slightly different way. They buy medications from pharmaceutical companies and then sell them for slightly more than what they pay. In other words, Costco buys and sells prescription medications in the same way they buy and sell everything else in their stores. And this is somehow revolutionary? That alone should tell you how absurd the medical field is, and why prices are so hard to control. (Note: I'm not just giving Costco free advertising. I mention them because, so far, they've given the closest thing to the actual price of these medications and that's what I'm trying to find)."

About the accessories-----maybe another thing. I have to go now---- I'll see if I can find some good sources.
Your doctor should be able to help you with that. Buying them without an RX-----ask your doctor. I wouldn't buy from eBay!
A few of the I v pharmacies I've called won't give me a cash price. Like you said before the meds are cheap but to give them to you in IV form they inflate the cost. I'm trying to get my IV rocephin and Flagyl as cheap as I can but the pharmacies that will sell you the drugs at a fair price want to over charge for everything else. The huber needle and and adapter I need are $525.00 a week. That doesn't include tubing every day and the nurse to put the needle into the port. (I think I will start doing that myself too).
So far the lowest I can get is around $200 a day plus supplies. That comes to about $8,000 a month
Don't get excited because they've stopped shipping out of the country now---- unless things have changed since I checked about a year ago.
Maybe you should move to France. (Just kidding!)

They are WAY CHEAPER.
They said they do have other patient from my doctor and they deliver for no extra charge.
The Rocephin with the supplies is only $ 700 a month. This is a fraction of the cost of others. The cost of Flagyl is about the same per month as teh others per week.
I am working on getting it all shipped. I will check back it later to let others know how well it worked..
