  Yesterday I said I would sew, and I did. Unfortunately I developed a back spasm from leaning over the table while rotary cutting some fabric. I only did this for 10 minutes max! It just seems like I am constantly pulling muscles in my back at the slightest provocation. Does anyone else have this problem? Would you say this is part of fibro?

  I feel like today is going to be a good day. I slept well, and that makes a huge difference. Since things are looking up, I'm going to clean the bathrooms, hem a dress, and then work on my quilt. After that maybe I'll lay down and read a book!

  Exercise really does help. I walk on a treadmill and practice yoga six days a week. I gradually worked up to this. I also soak in the bathtub with Epsom salt three days a week. During the day I constantly change positions because if I am in one position too long, I ache. My daughter is a doctor and she is the one who encouraged me to start exercising because it is one of the only proven self help strategies.
