Hellp, I am 24 year old teacher who works in Durham. I was just recently diagnoised with FM. I have ben sick or "not right" for as long as i can remember. In he last 6 years my condition has gotten worse. I am still learning more about my diagnosis and would appreciate any advice. As far as symtpoms, i feel like i may have them all at this point. Haha. Any way i hope to get some support in this group as well as give advice to others.

Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...


Anyway, welcome to the group, or is that unwelcome???? We all seem to have all the symptoms of FM so you fit right in! There's awesome support from all across the globe, all walks of life, and all ages. I'm sorry for what brings you here but I guess it brings us all here.
I was just recently dx'd with FM and I'm still learning the ins and outs and what I can and can't do. I would recommend getting the book Fibromyalgia for dummies and as far as I can recall it's on Amazon. It's the go to book around here (and no I don't have it yet but I'm getting it so Leo I'll get right on that in a minute!!) Everyone will suggest you get this book lol
