  I have read that people with CVID can develop Lupus - it seems that is where I am at. I have been dealing with progressing joint pain & fatigue since before I have been dealing with CVID and now my kidneys are getting involved. I have a low C3 regularly, weak positive Nuclear Ab and blood in urine. Plaquenil gave me gastritis so I am currently on Prednisone and about to taper that off and start methotrexate. I am interested in anyone else's experiences with this double whammy.

  Ok - I'll start a new thread.Anyone have issues with duodenal/peptic ulcers ?That's my latest, at first docs thought it was kidney stones but turns out it ulcers. I actually think I've been dealing with this for some time, it just got quite worse (painful !). Waiting for a scope in the next day or so. Ugh.

  Mine is getting worse. I currently take amitriptyline at night – started to take it for mild neuropathy and my doc upped it to 25 mg and that has helped for awhile. It also helps me get back to sleep since I wake up a lot.Anyway, I seem to be getting what I would call “break through” neuropathy – I guess I am just getting more, it’s not as controlled as it was. I’m getting a little more tingling in my limbs, that burning sensation, and always the pain. Any one have experience with...
