  After tallying everything I've gone through in the past 5 weeks, I realized I've been through 6 med changes. An increased dose of my original med. 2 weeks later a direct switch to another SSRI. Another med added. 5 days later an upped dose of the new SSRI. 2 weeks later the SSRI dose was upped again, as was the dose of the new med. One more SSRI upped dose coming Monday. The changes were the result of different providers. First a psychiatrist at a help unit. Then a nurse practitioner at a...

  Just spent 5 days on 25mg sertraline, then upped it to 50mg. Upset stomach, more anxiety right now. Spoke to the nurse Thursday who said I just have to suffer through it for another month or two. Friday the nurse practitioner at the same facility basically told me the same thing, even using the word suffer. I've been suffering since early November when apparently after 17 years on paroxetine, it stopped working. It took time and work to find help. I don't want to become addicted to anything,...
