After tallying everything I've gone through in the past 5 weeks, I realized I've been through 6 med changes. An increased dose of my original med. 2 weeks later a direct switch to another SSRI. Another med added. 5 days later an upped dose of the new SSRI. 2 weeks later the SSRI dose was upped again, as was the dose of the new med. One more SSRI upped dose coming Monday. The changes were the result of different providers. First a psychiatrist at a help unit. Then a nurse practitioner at a mental health office. Finally I found a psychiatrist accepting new patients and my health insurance. I saw her about a week ago, see her again in about 2 weeks. I plan to stick with her and i canceled the nurse practitioner appointment at the end of the month. I keep hoping to get better. Hasn't happened yet. Hope springs eternal, been trying to find help since November. Boy, has this been a long, hard road. Has anyone else been through a number of med changes in a relatively short time? How did you feel? There are days when I feel worse instead of better, but over time I hope I even out and can live my normal life again.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
seems to me. . . med expert i ain't.
