  I was put on 50mg of Zoloft in May of last year for anxiety with depression from worrying that my life would not return to normal.   This past January I dropped to 25mg. My doctor told me last May that 50mg was not much and I would not feel much of a difference. In January she said wean off slowly instead of dropping it all together.  I stayed at 25mg till March and March 8th after seeing my doctor decided to drop to 12.5 instead of all together. She agreed.   I was at 50mg for nearly 8 months. I am on day 2-3 of 25mg and plan to stay at 25 for a bit.So far nothing out of the ordinary. Slight headaches at times. Not bad but I am also three days into a strict diet so it could be that causing the headaches. Anyone have experience decreasing their dose from 50 to 25?Thanks

  I am coming off 50mg daily(9 months) in January. What were any ones experiences? Side effects?    I still deel with maneagable anxiety but feel i can manage.   Sometimes I wont feel anxieties about some things like socializing, speaking, ect like i used to but I feel a generalized anxiety that is detached or seems that way.   Is the zoloft causing my brain not to connect my anxiety and the reasons?   I dont mind feeling my old normal anxieties but perfer to know why I feel anxious. ...

  I have been battling anxiety the last 7 months and I am trying to learn as much as I can.    I am on zoloft and have gotten a lot better.  I will have a good run of days where I feel normal but then relapse.   At times I will be ok mentally but have physical symptoms( small knot in throat, Tighness in chest, a little short of breath, stiff neck) Not all at the same time.   Zoloft and wine. I will have been on Zoloft for 8 weeks this Friday. It has helped some and made things manageable most days. I have not drank in 8 weeks. Before I would have 2-3 glasses of wine a week. One each weekend night of the weekend. I have read to stay away from alcohol on zoloft. My wife has been on 100mg for three years and drinks 4 nights a week. She said she is fine. Is it ok to go back to drinking?????

  Had a great weekend. Most of my physical symptoms subsided but still a little bit of anxious thinking.  Then yesterday my anxiety came back. It fluctuates from feeling ok to anxious to ok to depressed. Like a roller coaster. Last Wednesday was like that as well.  It stinks after feeling normal this weekend. I even ate like i used to. I am wondering if eating so much junk set me up for failure.  I had been sleeping fine but did not sleep much last night.Did any one else have frequent mood...

  Any one here on zoloft and have ADD or ADHD? I am more ADD and still debating starting Zoloft.   I got Covid in early February and my usual manageable anxiety started raging. Depression has come to the surface as well.   I will have a few good days and some days with worried thoughts in my head like  "Will I ever fully be myself again?" "Did Covid mess up my brain?" ect      Sometimes I can cognitively work through stuff others I cant focus my thoughts.  Wondering if going back on...
